    We are proud to be representing a key client that provides specialist engineering and applied science solutions for the prevention and remediation of solid and liquid contamination. They are a trusted provider to the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors. We are seeking full-time Contracts Administrator to join thier NSW team. Our ideal candidate will have a contracting background in either the building or civil construction industry, be confident, trustworthy, and contractually savvy with the ability to leverage from their experience and education. Above all, we are looking for someone with a great attitude and work ethic, who is prepared to support the team, learn, develop, and progress their skills and career. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include Supporting project managers in preparation of claims and contract correspondence, project financial management, and cost control. Managing subcontractor and supplier procurement processes and documentation, including subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Post-tender interviews. Providing on-site contract administration assistance, as required. Resolving problems concerning the head subcontract, subcontractors, and related programs. Reviewing, administering and negotiating variations. Identifying contract risks (delays, EOT claims and variations) and ensuring that these are documented and managed to the Companys expectations. Reviewing and providing advice on extension of time claims. Compiling and reviewing practical completion notifications. Maintaining a contract admin register. Preparation of subcontractsupply agreements, including review of technical specifications. Providing recommendations to reduce liability for the project. As required, undertaking head contract reviews, preparing departure lists, and participating in head contract negotiations. Key attributes for the role are Tertiary Qualification in either Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying. Construction experience on projects between 1M-30M. Working experience with Jobpac beneficial but not mandatory. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Project. Demonstrated ability to write persuasive letters and notices. Excellent organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast past, multi-tasking environment, whilst keeping a level-head and maintaining the highest levels of professionalism at all times. A pro-active and creative thinker, with the ability to review, suggest and implement improvements to processes. The proven ability to work unsupervised in a highly autonomous role. Excellent communication skills will be your key strength, in particular the ability to adapt your approach hen dealing with a wide range of people in a variety of situations. This is a growth position. Working closely with Project Managers and getting support from the National Commercial Manager, you will have exposure to a wide variety of matters that will test your resolve, wit, and ability to think and act quickly yet strategically.
